Chinese riot squad vital in Haiti's peacekeeping
www.chinanews.cn 2006-06-12 15:01:27
Staff members of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti were
attacked by gun-armed gangsters on the construction site of
Port-au-Prince in Haiti on June 10. Ten Chinese riot policemen patrolling
nearby immediately arrived at the spot after receiving the command of the
United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti and started hunting for the
gangsters. Chinese riot squad has become an important armed force that
shoulders the responsibility of crucial actions in the Haiti-based
peace-keeping and riot squads of the Mission.
