Day by Day Itinerary
Tiananmen Square
Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of
Heaven.(B+L)

Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall, the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace. (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing
Only hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. We intend to
leave the day free for you to absorb something of the vibrant atmosphere
of Beijing. (B)

Day 05: Beijing - Lhasa
Take a morning flight to Lhasa where the altitude is 3,650 meters above
sea level. Transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high
altitude in the afternoon. (B)

Day 06: Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit
the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. (B+L)

Day 07: Lhasa
Visit the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street.
After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Tibet Museum,
the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. (B+L)

Day 08: Lhasa - Xian
Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Big Wild Goose
Pagoda. (B+L)

Ancient City Wall, Xian
Day 09: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum and the Provincial
History Museum. (B+L)

Day 10: Xian
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are
suggested to visit the City Wall, the Great Mosque and have some free
time to explore the Bazaar near the Mosque by yourselves. (B)

Day 11: Xian - Guilin
You are suggested to take a shuttle bus to the airport and the stop is
very near to your hotel. Board the flight to Guilin by yourselves. Our
guide will pick you up at Guilin airport and transfer to the hotel. (B)

Day 12: Guilin - Yangshuo
Transfer you to the pier to board the cruise ship. Then the activities
along the Li River and in Yangshuo will be handled by yourselves.
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to
Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you may have a short bicycle trip to
the countryside. Alternatively, you can take an electric car instead of
taking bicycles. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not
meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have enough breakfast at the
hotel today). (B+L)

Day 13: Yangshuo - Guilin
Morning is free. Return to Guilin by yourselves. The shuttle bus ticket
from Yangshuo to Guilin can be purchased easily at the front desk. Upon
arrvial, please check in at the hotel by yourselves. You are suggested to
visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk
Hill. (B)

Shennong Stream, Yangtze River tour
Day 14: Guilin - Chongqing
This morning, take a taxi to the airport by yourselves to board a flight
to Chongqing. Our guide will pick you up at Chongqing airport. Visit the
Panda House in Chongqing Zoo, the Residence of General Joseph W.Stilwell
and Ci Qi Kou. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00 as you
board the luxurious cruise ship. (B+L)

Day 15: Shibaozhai
At about 07:30, disembark for an excursion to Shibaozhai (the nine-storey
Precious Stone Stronghold). The Captain's Welcome Party will be held this
evening. (B+L+D)
Day 16: Badong (Shennong Stream) - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Visit Badong and take a small junk to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of
the nature in the Shennong Stream. Continue sailing into the western
section of Xiling Gorge. (B+L+D)
Day 17: Yichang - Shanghai
Disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam.
After lunch, pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. Drive
to Yichang, visit the Chinese Sturgeon Museum if time permits. Take a
flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, please go to the hotel we have booked
for you by yourselves. (B+L)

Day 18: Shanghai
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are
suggested to visit the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund on

activities are arranged by yourselves. (B)
