Briefing of business opportunities in Yangzhou was held at local Yinbing
Hotel yesterday morning.

At the briefing presided by Mr. Wang Rongping, Executive Member of
Municipal Committee of CPC and Vice Mayor of Municipal Government, Mayor
Wang Yanwen delivered a speech on local age-long history, cultural
landscape and the social and economic development.
As one of the festive events of 2006 Flowery March International Economy,
Trade and Tourism Festival, the briefing attracted business people from
over 30 countries and regions, including the U.S.A., Japan, France,
Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
At the briefing, agreements were signed to launch 77 projects, 40 of
which are to be funded by foreign capital while other 37 by civil capital.
